Very interesting that they cite the 1986 Miami shootout. They don't mention that only one of the FBI agents was wearing his vest, which was standard issue.

Unfortunately, just like the Military, they are always "Fighting the last War" and having to play catch up!
The L.A. Bank Robbery showed the LEO that they needed to start carrying Long Guns! Duh................they had learned that in the 1920's, but some how forgot those important lessons!
Crooks are always coming up with extra deadly tools and tactics, and we have to be able to adjust if not outright out equipped to handle them!
