Good Evening from Alaska!

Just joined this evening. Have been living in Alaska since 1975, moved up from Eastern Oregon. Have enjoyed some hunting but mostly fishing and shrimping here in Alaska.

Retired a few years ago and plan to spend some time hunting birds this fall in Oregon and elsewhere. Wanted to catch up on things in the lower 48, hunting/fishing etc.

welcome to NWF ! bird hunting ? i never did get the hang of a shotgun ! my dad would hand me a box of 12-410 shells when i was 11 yrs. old, and told me to bring home 13 birds ! i would maybe get three, but i was hunting on the tide flats in tacoma, WA., and no dog !! made it tough ! LOL ! anyway, enjoy yourself !!
