For those that have small kids the Marlin 101 has an interesting feature that makes loading much easier. The bolt has a shroud that allows the shooter to just put a bullet into its shroud and close the bolt. Other guns that my kids shot you had to put the loaded rounds into the chamber. And little fingers aren't always able to do this. DR
