I picked this up a couple of weeks ago, have found various issues with it, so I am selling as a parts only gun.

To be clear, I place no blame on previous owner, as I he stated he had issues with it, I just dont think he knew what was wrong.

What I've found:

Bullet guide doesn't properly posistion rounds, they hit the face of the barrel below the chamber.

Ejector is soft and slightly deformed.

Right side lug is worn.

The good news, head space checks out fine.

This is an early ORF receiver gun, there were known issues with these receivers being out of spec...well, I won the lottery :)

It might be salvageable, but more work than I want to put into it at this time.

Price is $300, the cost of a parts kit plus shipping from APEX.

Comes with 4 mags.

FTF in the portland/milwaukie area.

Thanks,

Bill

I will try and ad some pics tonight.

Ya know, it sucks when you accidentally unsubscribe from your own sale ad....

Here are a few pics of the problem areas:

Cetme: Yes, Century made...errrr....F'd up Galil

Been researching some more, seems that the problem was the shelf for the guide was machined too low and supposedly can be fixed by drilling out the rivet, shimming, and re-riveting. I may try this down the road if no one wants...which quite frankly, I understand...
