Tried out the Glock g flex trigger on g34 with usw chassis. It uses tons of ammo. A lot more than you would think. Have had no malfunctions so far (about 200 rounds).

Basically the same observations as other binary triggers:

1) If shooting a lot such as mag dump, it's often choppy unless you practice to get the cadence right. I think the reason is the trigger can outrun the bolt.

2) 2 shot groups are great, at least with a vertical grip. Group size is small. I'm planning on testing on a Glock 22 (.40 s&w) with no vertical grip in the future to see how controllable it is for 2 shot bursts
3) 4 shot bursts are pretty controllable also. Groups open up a lot though.
4) Mag dump type shooting is all over the place, as expected. It's just a waste of ammo imo. For mag dump type shooting or even large bursts, I think a .22 is the way to go. Ammo is cheap and accuracy is much better due to no recoil. Fe here is a 10 round burst on a 15-22:
My views haven't changed I still regard these as non self-defense options. Semi auto gives more precision imo. Fe here is an Arex zero 9mm pistol shooting off hand:
Vs Glock w/binary shooting offhand:

Edit: forgot to mention first trigger pull is extremely heavy (same as with echo 2 sport binary AR15 trigger). But after that you forget about it and it just feels "normal".

Yeah, unless you are being mobbed by attackers and there are no innocent bystanders or other innocents downrange at all, it is better to be able to have control over your shots.

What I would like to see is a binary/FRT for a PS90. That would be worth cutting the barrel (or buying a 10.5") and attaching a suppressor to.

5.7 binary would be awesome due to low recoil. With practice I bet you could get fairly large bursts with medium sized groups or maybe small. But only a guess. Part of the issue is practice. It's a little odd at first because you are thinking about an extra thing when shooting. If practiced enough to where large bursts can be down without thought it might work pretty good. But the ammo alone for that practice woudl be expensive.

I wish I had a binary for mp5 to test. The low felt recoil of that may be quite different than straight blowback. Maybe if ptr ever releases their 5.56 "mp5" rifle it would be worth getting. One trigger group could be swapped from mp5, 5.56, and .308 guns by just removing 2 pins. That would be cool. Mp5 binaries are $629 though and it's not worth it to me, at least for now.

I'll keep practicing with the Glock 34 w USW for a bit to see how large bursts I can get with decent accuracy. Maybe with practice could get 6 or 8 shot bursts with decent accuracy, I'm not sure.

Binary/FRT is maybe possible with 5.7x28 - with an AR57 and the right trigger.

But for the PS90, it would require a different trigger pack - maybe a machined copy of a P90 trigger pack. Maybe a 3D printed one.
