Tried out the Glock g flex trigger on g34 with usw chassis. It uses tons of ammo. A lot more than you would think. Have had no malfunctions so far (about 200 rounds).
Basically the same observations as other binary triggers:
1) If shooting a lot such as mag dump, it's often choppy unless you practice to get the cadence right. I think the reason is the trigger can outrun the bolt.
2) 2 shot groups are great, at least with a vertical grip. Group size is small. I'm planning on testing on a Glock 22 (.40 s&w) with no vertical grip in the future to see how controllable it is for 2 shot bursts
3) 4 shot bursts are pretty controllable also. Groups open up a lot though.
4) Mag dump type shooting is all over the place, as expected. It's just a waste of ammo imo. For mag dump type shooting or even large bursts, I think a .22 is the way to go. Ammo is cheap and accuracy is much better due to no recoil. Fe here is a 10 round burst on a 15-22:
My views haven't changed I still regard these as non self-defense options. Semi auto gives more precision imo. Fe here is an Arex zero 9mm pistol shooting off hand:
Vs Glock w/binary shooting offhand:
Edit: forgot to mention first trigger pull is extremely heavy (same as with echo 2 sport binary AR15 trigger). But after that you forget about it and it just feels "normal".
