It could also be your recoil spring is worn too. If you have another one swap it out and see if it fixes the problem.

Trigger spring in the correct orientation?

Is everything OEM?

Also check the safety plunger for wear. This happened on a buddies gun and his plunger had strange wear catching the trigger bar before complete reset.
I'll snap some pics once I get home. Appreciate it

Hey hey! I'm un-ignored! @baseballplerrr my apologizes if I did something in the past. I know I can rub people wrong sometimes. Either way I hope you get it figured out!

If you know someone else who has a G19 Gen 4 you could swap slides with them and see if the issue continues. If it goes away it's something having to do with the slide. If it remains it's something in the lower frame.

If you do deal with Glock Warranty they are super easy to work with.

Oh no man, You're all good. I honestly wasn't even aware you could block people on here, so my bad there.

I appreciate the insight as well. I think I got a pretty good deal, and of this a minor issue like I think, I'll still come out alright.

I had that issue with a Polymer 80 gun. Replacing the striker spring and the little cups fixed it for me. If it has a Glock Performance trigger installed, they require a bit more attention to cleanliness and lubrication to run 100%. Trigger reset issues will ensue if you don't lubricant them as prescribed.

That's the nice thing about Glocks. There are very few things that could be wrong so diagnosing should be pretty straightforward.

Where are you located? I have Gen 5 19s and I could meet up with you (depending) and throw one of my slides on your lower and see if it still has the same issue.

I'm in Sandy. But I'm in the Gresham/Portland area often. Not sure where you're at. That's a good idea though, my neighbor might have a 19 I could throw on and test it out.

Once I get home this evening I'm going to dig into it a bit more. It truly feels like there's a bind in the trigger.

Make sure this spring is installed correctly. If it's backwards it can cause issues.

Worst case it spent it's younger years around a P320 and just needs someone who can provide some discipline and education on how to operate properly.

Yea just post some photos if you get a chance. We may be able to spot something. I'm in the Tualatin/Tigard area.

a Gen 3, 4 or 5 slide would fit on your 19 frame and help diagnose. Especially if your neighbor has one. That would be the easiest to diagnose.

That's the spring I was thinking was the culprit. I was reading that can really botch things up.
Well the gun only has the trigger spring, firing pin spring, plunger safety spring, recoil spring and slide release spring. So you don't have many options. Haha.

If it feels like it's binding/grinding see if you can spot any abnormal wear or scratches on the internals.
