My bigger complaint is people NOT closing their ads after something has sold. That results in more wasted time for me than anything else.
Whole heartedly concur with this! Also, the idiots who join just to sell something, but never are seen again and the add is not only open, but no indication if item is still available or not!

I'm gonna take that $100 and buy you an apostrophe and an "E"

Customer's question: "What's the lowest you'll take?"

Seller's response: "What's the highest you'll pay?"

As someone else said, it can be an issue both ways, with people inquiring about availability, the poster promptly replying, and then the inquirer never being heard from again.

I've seen this multiple times, so I'm at the point of imagining those folks are late night classifieds surfing, surrounded by a large pile of Keystone Light empties.

Good thing NWF isn't like Gunbroker with instant check out!

It's the craigslist/marketplace/no child left behind effect: Don't read, can't read, definitely can't comprehend, no manners, make a ridiculous offer (or ask a ridiculous price). To be honest, I rather be ghosted than have some dishonest cheese-wanker show up and hour late with 1/2 the agreed price, (or three beaver pelts and a hay bale in trade)...or drive an hour to meet the seller and find parts are missing or damaged.

Man....this is happening way too much. Anyone else? I dm people to make an offer on here, and they just DONT respond. Keep in mind everyone, we can see when you've been online last. If you're not interested in an offer, please RESPOND accordingly. This isn't a dating app, we can all handle a "No thanks". Just respond. Its rude not to. Jesus christ. Rant over
Some offers are not worth responding to, my friend. If an offer makes sense, more or less, I will definitely respond, even if it doesn't work for me.. but some people make totally idiotic lowball offers or offer a trade that is not worth even a fraction of what you have. In those cases, it is best that I don't respond. Because those people definitely don't wanna know what I think about them.
