Oh my gosh! What a whiskey!! Picked a bottle up today and am having a wee taste (neat) right this moment. Dickel selects only 10 barrels a year for this bottling. The barrels are aged 10-12 years. It's quite possibly, no , it is the best whiskey that I've ever had. Smooth, rich, just the right touch of smoke & wood. Some caramel, some fruit maybe. Balcones from Texas is a real close 2nd. I'm tellin'you boys that you need to run out right now and grab a bottle!
