g43 or shield 2.0

I've got a Shield in both 9 and 45, and had to stipple the grip to keep them in my hand. For some reason S&W thought the textured grip surface was enough. Whoever thought that ought to be slapped.

I'm a Glock guy, for sure, got a bunch of them, including a 42 and a 26. The 42 is my wife's and I prefer a Kahr P380 for pocket duty. It is obvious to anybody who has pocket carried that the 43 and the Shield are NOT pocket guns (neither is a 42, for that matter...).

But for small belt carry, I definitely am able to tell a difference between the Shield and the 26. Don't let people convince you that you might as well go 26 of you're gonna go small gun. I carry my 26 when I want small, but can still go a little bigger. I prefer the Shield, especially during these warmer summer months. I much prefer the 8rd mag for the extra pinky space.

I frankly hated my dad's 43. I don't exactly know why, but it was absolutely not as awesome as my Shield.

I'm a bigger guy and prefer the Shield IWB. But I opted for the performance over the 2.0. The better trigger and sights sold me on it. It looks good too, which is not something I can say about Glocks. So yeah, I'm a little biased. :)

I have both, and I prefer the 43. The Shield is a great pistol. I use the granulate Talon Grips on it, and it's a solid in my hand. They're both so small, why not just carry both?

Shield. If a "single" stack is a must. Neither gun is a true single stack. I like double stack guns, and guns of slightly larger carriage, so I would say g19, or M&P2.0 Compact or similarly sized guns.

So I went with the 2.0 the stippling is perfect for me! Is solid in my hand, light shooting and just got hooked up with some plus 2 extenders brings me up to 10+1 one shy of the p365. Also appendix carry holsters(I know appendix carry insert comments below) or options for the shield any ones for a guy with a belly!

The Blackhawk A.R.C. AIWB is a solid option(so cheap too). I used it for quite a while. Also, I'm a fan of MIC holsters (don't shoot your D###, get a mic). . . they allow for a deep concealment, by using just a trigger guard and strap.
I've used both of these extensively. I'm comfortable recommending them.

Dad picked up a M&P .40 2.0 and absolutely loves it, really came down to how it carried and how he shot It! Lots of range time was the deciding factor! Wife and I both found it to be a very good fit and both shoot it well, so much to the wife picked her self up one! :)
Until some one does a decent 10mm, I'm gonna stick with Ol'tried and true!

Sold my G43, didn't like the way it shoots for the (Man I hope it good) Sig P365. Now with all the P365 problems I've heard about I doubt I'd ever feel 100% solid carrying it. So I'm buying a G26 which is what I should have done in the first place.

I wanted one but couldn't find one when I saw a gray G43 and picked it up, I still plan to get the Walther though.
GunBuyer has been blowing them out for $317 and now I see that they're out of stock.
Get the LE version. You get 6rd, 7rd and 8rd mags and night sights with the LE.
I like the 8rd mag.
I was an early adopter and paid $437
