Unless you go with an 80% frame, it may be easier to buy locally since you're in MI, because interstate transactions would require shipping & transfers through an FFL in your state.

If you damaged your frame, Glock may replace it for a fee if you send in the damaged frame.

If you want to do this economically, then your best bet may be to buy a police trade-in Gen 4 complete pistol.
It can either be a G19 or a G23.....they use the same frame.
Then sell off the police slide assembly if you wish.

Best places to watch for police trades are Recoil Gun Works and GT Distributors.
