I wonder if Atrius will ship to Oregon now?
3-4 week lead time puts them past Sept 26 for delivery, likely they dont know.

They might. Then you have to worry if it will be intercepted in transit right?
Is that even possible? How would anyone know whats in the package?

Not certain its even worth it since by the time it arrived you cant even use it, no fun in that.

Good Q. If it were me I would look on their website and see how fussy they are in shipping to many other states. If website says "won't ship to state x,y, z, only " or they say nothing, or they say "you are responsible for knowing your state laws" then should be fine. If they are super detailed on who they ship to that would tell me they are the sensitive sort when it comes to shipping. Some companies are fussy on shipping while others are not.

They are super detailed on their page with a long list of states they wont ship. My guess is, if they even know... they will ship up until the 25th to Oregon.
Considering what they sell, they don't strike me as the type to want to "get ahead" of any legal concerns like many suppliers that wont ship standard magazines here...

If they are detailed like that then I think you're right. If I recall they used to have on their webpage "if you aren't happy with the wait we will refund your $". so there is that fwiw.

I know sometimes mail is searched. Will they search yours? I don't know. Probably something other than USPS is best.

Mail searched? You could ship a battleship in the US mail in pieces. They'd lose 5% of it but they'd never search for anything. Way too much volume in the system for that nonsense.

If only there were a reshipper who didnt care.

Well I'm sure none of you upstanding people are on the ATFs radar or anything. As always buy illegal bubblegum through the mall at your own risk but if you do i hope you do it with confidence and bravado.
They may have been charged with shipping guns and parts through the mail as part of a broader investigation. That article got a lot wrong. It is not legal to ship ammunition through the US Mail .

Remember kiddies, when doing gangster sh!t there is ALWAYS going to be someone, one of your buddies, willing to rat you out to save his own skin.

There's always some reason someone gets caught including your package breaking open. I hope it's all worth it.

You really believe OR has employed people to check mail for things that violate state law? Yes you are right they are legal nationally. The few commie states have made them illegal in their state. Do they have state agencies dedicated to screening mail for this purpose? No. Too many ppl running scared of state laws that don't even exist yet. Plus how many state laws are actually enforced?

Do what you want. Everyone has different thresholds for risk (Even if logically the risk is so far fetched it's not a real risk). perhaps many years down the road when funding and culture changes to more anti-gun infrastructure at the state level it may logically be more real.

I ship 7-8 guns a week through the USPS . Have 30 years but I am allowed to. They don't know that unless they open a package which never happens. Only once, last week, have the ever lost/stolen anything and they paid up without incident.

I don't really think anything will happen but I like to watch people act tough on here.
