YepCZAR v3?
There are several States where you need a permit to purchase firearms, or the equivalent of it, like "firearms safety certification", "firearms owner ID", and so on. These existed before Bruen. And because Bruen dealt with NY's carry scheme, and Justices notably said that they wouldn't comment on the legality of other types of carry or permit schemes... Some States are taking it to mean they can require it.WA will NOT comply.
Yeah....think about it. Bruen was handed down and yet......WA wants a "permit to purchase". Clearly someone didn't get the memo. Or the Ds just want to see more gun cases get backlogged by the courts.
What a strategy.

Agreed. Just stating that the SCOTUS have consistently said 2A is "not unlimited"IDK about YOU but.....
The part where it says.....
"......shall not be infringed."
Pretty much covers it.

The only limitations are supposed to be those placed on the government, that means SCOTUS too. Incidentally, the Constitution is just a piece of paper with writing on it if it's not backed by those who intend to defend it.Agreed. Just stating that the SCOTUS have consistently said 2A is "not unlimited"![]()
And that is exactly what it is.The only limitations are supposed to be those placed on the government, that means SCOTUS too. Incidentally, the Constitution is just a piece of paper with writing on it if it's not backed by those who intend to defend it.
I think we lost that battle long ago when we lost our spine collectively as a society. All of the problems we face today crept up on us slowly. We saw the problems coming and did nothing... except perhaps argue with other people on the internet. And that is exactly what it is.
Been well over 100 years. Beyond that really. Remember the shootout at the OK Corral was about the Earps, the police, disarming the population of the Tombstone. They hunted down and killed the gun owners. Congress and the President were violating the Constitution with the blessing of the courts just a few years after the ink dried on the Constitution.I think we lost that battle long ago when we lost our spine collectively as a society. Not yet. The way the stribog is set up you would have to machine the bolt for a sear trip to fit around it.Has anyone seen a Stribog trip for a super safety yet? That would be really cool to have. Seems like they would sell a ton of them. But maybe the safety position is different than AR so standard super safety wouldn't work? I have no clue if it woudl work but man that woudl be cool.
Ah I see thanks. As FRT popularity grows someone might make it (I hope). Not yet. The way the stribog is set up you would have to machine the bolt for a sear trip to fit around it.
And I hate waiting for the cool stuff to arrive as well. The idea that they are willing to turn lawful people that purchased an item legally into criminals is horsebubblegum.
And I hate you guys for showing all the cool stuff...
There has been a prototype trip I have seen a one off demonstrated.it got through a mag, but the guy who designed it said it was finniky and worked some of the time. It "needed a lot more work "Not yet. The way the stribog is set up you would have to machine the bolt for a sear trip to fit around it.
I might try my echo sport binary in stribig just for giggles. Echo sport has trigger lock that if you remove it will work with any bolt. I have it in my 15-22 and works fine. But it may not work with 9mm I don't know. Problem with having it in 15-22 is I don't even like holding that gun. It just oozes cheap plastic everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. It's odd, g36 .22 is most all plastic also but doesn't feel cheap. I think g36 .22 is 1.5lb lighter than real g36 and feels great to me. I always prefer metal though. I just like standard Stribog trigger with Mcarbo springs so it's kind of hard to ruin that by putting cruddy pull binary in it.There has been a prototype trip I have seen a one off demonstrated.
