So apparently chrome silicon buffer springs are prone to rust, and I didn't realize that when I bought this from Fulton Armory.
I've read that it shouldn't affect function as it's really only on the surface, but I just don't feel right putting it into a rifle when I'm going all out on all the other parts.
If you can meet in Tualatin/Lake Oswego/SE Tigard (or pay for shipping), you can have it for free.
