The staff of Governor Mills (D-Maine) forwarded FPC's tweet to the state police representative in charge of her security detail because they apparently found it "extremely threatening."

Dem. Governor Mills sent a tweet calling for an "assault weapon" ban in Maine.

FPC responded to the tweet with, "F*ck you. No." (I love how they roll! 🤣)

FPC subsequently sent a letter to Governor Mills and Secretary Bellows

The main highlight of the letter:
"Naked authoritarianism, such as efforts to chill free speech, is not acceptable to FPC and our members. We strongly encourage you to learn more about protected speech and arms."

:D👍

I have to go to Maine frequently . Hate that place. Bunch of rude obnoxious pricks. Speed traps all over the place.
And toll roads, at least in all the other NE states. I didn't make it very far into Maine last time over there.

It's a good letter. But FPC missed a golden opportunity to achieve ultimate troll status by NOT signing off their letter by telling the good governor of Maine, "F**k You, No!" :D

Ah, what else could we say about Democrat state governors? Scared of their own shadows? Yep.

No reason ever to visit Maine. If I want mosquitoes when I'm out fishing, camping or canoeing, I'll stay in Upper Michigan, Wisconsin or Minnesota. It's far cheaper, with far better fishing, with far friendlier people and far better food (who needs overpriced lobster?).

Raises the question: Do "coalitions" have first amendment rights?

Shouldn't the "tweeter" have signed his/her name?
