Just got my Form 1 can approved. Efile took 30 days , now it's time to make some chips..

1.5" x 6.5" 24tpi Ti tube with 3 SS and 4 Ti baffles and Ti spacers (SS baffles will be hardened to h900 after bore/clip). Ti endcap has built in flash hider and Ti rear mount is for Griffin taper muzzle devices. Baffles will have decreasing bore diameter and be DHC style clipped.

I am tempted to get a Form 1 to use an oil filter and thread adapter. Because I'm classy like James Bond and Ricky Bobby all rolled into one.
The thread adapter will be the NFA item(and must be engraved), not the oil filter. Not sure you can Form 1 this, but am interested. Comparable to a wipe system can.

Very cool. Ti is very difficult to work with but light weight for sure. If you use a pin-style tumbler you can clean Ti in it and will come out sparkling.

Did the Oxyclean wash on my tube , taper adapter and endcap. They came our a nice shade of medium gray.
Also made a cone holder for the lathe so I can hold the cones for boring.
Going to machine the cones and endcap this week.

neat. My 6.5"x1.5" titanium can weighs about the same with the three lug mount. I think i fit five radial cones in there, with about a 1.5" spacer. I dont know how it compares to a commercial can in volume reduction, but I can shoot 9mm without ear protection just fine.

This has 3 SS and 4 Ti RSC cones. The blast spacer is 1.68 and then [email protected], [email protected] , [email protected] and .250 for the last one.

Did the final machining on my .30 cal form 1 can today. Use the Bridgeport to DHC clip the baffles, which adds to the db reduction, aids in projectile stability , and minimizes POI shift. Probably going to test it tomorrow.
