Would like to trade a pristine Magpul PRS Gen 3 in FDE for your black Magpul PRS Gen 3 of the same condition.
Mine comes with the box and all that came in it.
Located in Sweet Home, OR. Face to face would be best. I will travel reasonable distance

Just a guess, have you heard of Rit Dye Super Black?
Disassemble your stock of all the screws, and wash everything good in hot water and Dawn Dish Soap.
Put all the pieces into a large (stainless steel preferred) pot.
Add just enough water (a pinch of salt helps) to cover the pieces, then add the dye.
Move the parts around to mix evenly into the water.
Bring to a rapid boil, then turn down to a gentle boil.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally.

This works a treat.
I've done several and the process holds up very well, even when scratched.

I'm a PICKY SOB. The thought of trying what I mention, I was skeptical.
Then I decided to try it.
It works.

Main thing is, make sure you CLEAN all the oils and finger prints off in hot water and Dawn dish soap, with a stiff nylon brush.
I forgot to mention, flip the pieces over in the brine now and then.
When done, rinse well in cold water, blow dry with compressed air if you have the means.
You may find yourself quite surprised in the efforts.

Don't dump the brine when you're done.
Do you have anything else you want to change to black? FDE/Sand are the easiest to change.
Oh, spare your plumbing. Don't dump HOT water down your sink drains.
