In April, the city agreed to pay the pair $4.2 million. The agreement was in addition to a separate $40,000 settlement for the loss of the women's pickup truck.

So...LAPD policy is not to shoot bystanders? Finally, I'm glad someone took the time to settle this very cloudy issue. Totally understandable that it took an oversight board of eight to come to this definitive conclusion.

Yeah sure, there needs to be an internal investigation not the Chiefs discretion!!!!
