First AK, which do you choose?

I may have a MAK-90 up for grabs soon.. Wink wink.. Hear those are pretty stout..

I picked one up a few years back and it was a NOS, had the butthole stock etc. I put a nice heavy duty folder, did some parts replacement (922R BS) and put some Romanian wood on it, yes the DONG lol.... and never looked back.
I installed a strike industries buffer too, so it has a little less recoil (not that I can't handle an AK47 recoil lol). I'll have a jam here and there when I run the drum mag and bump fire it

Well built and shoots great..... I've had many AKs, this is the best one so far.

I think the WASR is very under rated, Love mine, its a newer production (2013), sights are straight, no mag wobble, and have had zero malfunctions in a few thousand rounds. It just runs and runs and runs.
