Anyone have experience with a local gunsmith that does work on FAL's? Looking to get a trigger job done on the rifle I just picked up (feels somewhere around 10-12 pounds) and get it down to 4.5-5 pound range. Read some stuff online about guys going to hardware stores and swapping out springs and goofing around polishing contact points at home. I don't wanna screw around experimenting on a nice rifle (not to mention I have zero experience with FAL's at this time) or potentially make it "less reliable". I want someone experienced that has done several, and knows how to do it right, and isn't going to butcher my gun or put stuff in it that will fail. Every gun I own I expect to be able to "defend myself" with in a life and death situation. Rather have a heavy trigger pull with lots of creep than one that won't reset or go full auto on me.
I realize there are probably guys that I can ship it out to and they take my lower for 6 months or whatever and it'll come back eventually. Trying to avoid that. I'd like someone local with a couple week turn around time.
