I recently traded for an EOTech 551 that had been used in Iraq. I'm pretty sure I'm the third owner. However, it had a slight problem and the reticle would fade as it neared the left side of the window. I contacted EOTech to have it sent in. Expecting to pay the 58 dollar fee for repairs I was informed that they would cover the repair as a customer service, even though the sight was out of warranty.

Lets just say I will be more inclined to buy their products in the future because of this. However I've never dealt with Aimpoint's service, and am still wanting to try out one of their products in the future.
