There is a certain project I would consider with an antique firearm as sbr. However, given age of said potential project I don't want to desecrate an antique with my name and town. When is said proposed rule likely to take effect? Any of you guys heard anything solid?

Basically I am thinking antique pistol that can use antique stock. So not wanting any permanent mods.

If they ignore public comment like they usually do it should go into effect in 50ish days. They say they aren't going to do that, so it'll probably be a couple weeks to a month after that.
