I have a few friends that have tried to use that "it meant the militia" when I talk about the 2nd Amendment securing our right to keep and bare arms. I need to have THEM watch this video. Thanks for posting.

good explination but its not just limited to gun ownership. its about the right to bear ARMS. its about securing our right to defend ourselves from tyranny.

Another amendment means less to most of us now, because we take it for granted that we don't have to quarter troops in our homes, the 3rd Amendment was really a sore point with the folks that had suffered thru the British occupation. They did not like their entire house being taken over and their pantry raided. Those devils ate ALL the Post Toasties! Mom and Dad had to sleep in the barn. Well the 2nd Amendment offered a means to enforce the third. All ten amendments were a big deal in one way or the other, and the second provides a way to protect the entire Bill of Rights.
