Good condition (as modified) Eddystone M1917 American Enfield sporter chambered in 30-06, manufactured in 1918 according to OldGuns.net. Minor scuffs and scrapes on stock, no cracks. Metal finish is worn with around 50% blueing remaining but appears to be original with no pitting or rust. Front sight replaced with simple blade, original rear sight is removed. Right side of stock is inlet and receiver is tapped for some kind of peep sight, likely a Lyman 57 or similar. Bore is bright and shiny, rifling shows some wear. I have confirmed action cycles correctly with snap caps but have not fired it myself.
This is a recent acquisition for me that I planned to add a sight to and keep for a long time, but recent life events have imposed some financial limitations and it needs to go. I will include 5 Swedish Mauser M96 stripper clips. These are a popular alternative to the USGI stripper clips for the M1903 and M1917 because they don't have the little tabs that break off. I used one to confirm proper cycling with snap caps.
