Sadly I must part with this gorgeous 106 year old piece of history. As stated in the title, it is a 1917 Eddystone in .30-06. Has a May 1918 dated barrel and "E" stamps throughout. Metal is in good shape with no deep pitting or rust, and original bluing is present in many of the less handled areas. Bore is good to my eye, rifling is fairly sharp. Stock has no cracks and receiver fits snugly. Rack paint present at front of handguard. Original peep sight is in excellent condition. Action is smooth as glass. Non-matching as most of these were reassembled post war with little concern for future collectability.
