OF all the disrespectful things this leader has done, This is by far the worst! He might as well stood there and Pizzed on the graves of these 5 brave officers and smiled while doing it:mad::mad::mad:

O-bummer's comment was irresponsible hyperbole, and it blows me away that 1) people will actually believe the notion, and 2) Mr. O-bummer actually believes HIMSELF. I personally despise that man, but I know he isn't stupid or uneducated...what he said was calculated, nonsense, anti-gunner BS.

Computers are absolutely prolific, ubiquitous objects in America, literally in almost every home. Firearms, on the other hand, are less common. My God, I'd think simple statistical mathematics would cast doubt on his claim.

Its also possible or even likely that he wasn't being literal, but I've heard him say such utter nonsense, its absolutely unsurprisingly normal for this man, our supposed President, to say things that defy logic and common sense alike.

Edit: Nammac is right! Thank you...it was books he said were harder to get...than Glocks. Probably a Glock "with a lot of clips in it", as our Commander in Chief puts it. Unbelievable.

Don't recall computers, or any learning tools being in the bill of rights. An 18 year old "teenager" should absolutely be able to buy a rifle no problem if he/she isn't a criminal.

Almost everyone you see has a smart phone in their hand, they are basically a pocket sized handheld computer. Walk or drive down the street and if you pay attention you will see literally hundreds of them in a day! On that same day how many guns do you see while out and about?. His remarks are total frukkin bull shtitzs!.:mad::mad::mad:

The attendees should have all stood in unison and turned their collective backs on him when he started this political BS. This was a memorial service, for slain police officers. But as Rahm Manuel has suggested, never let a good tragedy go to waste.

Why can't America see beyound this sham of a leader? A total waste of a carbon footprint...

It's very frustrating when he can't just speak respectfully at a memorial service and just allow people to try and heal. Instead he turns everything into his personal political platform. I can't think of another President that showed this much disrespect this often.

And....I'm really getting sick and tired of his arrogant tone. Everything coming out of his mouth in the last few years sounds like a damn lecture. He's not my mother, he's not my father and his position as President doesn't make him my moral authority either.

You're correct. He isn't your mother and he isn't your father . . . HE'S YOUR EMPEROR and the First Commandment applies to him!!!!!

I cannot agree more with your comment he is not my parent or guardian and I wish I could like your comment twice because I agree with it so much.

We elect a president to help run the country along with congress, to rally the American folks in time of need and to represent all Americans not just a few and I do not feel we got our money's worth.

Ok, we all understand he does not like guns and in fact by his actions you would say he hates them, fine I get that but that was not a time or place to bring it up and divide a already damaged and hurting country.

This part here is exactly the way I feel ANY TIME, ANY of the left are speaking! I heard a bit of the speech as I was in the truck for a bit. I didn't know how long the speech was, but there's no way in hell I can sit and listen to the whole thing when these people get to speaking!

I get that he's the President, and with that, comes the bully pulpit he gets to use to push whatever his current agenda may be - it's one of the benefits of being the POTUS. But one of the responsibilities of the office is that he should know, and respect, the difference between a campaign or policy speech and a memorial service. It was, quite frankly, in very poor taste, and completely uncalled for at this type of event. He acted disgracefully.

i bet in high crime neighborhoods, more computers, tablets and phones are stolen than guns...

F BO.

Oh, and guns are a freedom detailed in the document which made this country. Computers are not. Thank God we have them flooding our streets. Otherwise only tyrants like him would have them.

He could take some lessons from House Speaker Paul Ryan. He's more of a Constitutional scholar than the president.

We're six months and a couple weeks away from his departure from the White House... Can't come soon enough...

+1 on the comment on smart phones. Smart phones are the new desktop computer. And everyone has one.

Computers are not remotely difficult for anyone in the US to get. I just got a Raspberry Pi computer for my birthday. Cost? 35$ Or a whole kit for $75. Probably cheaper than even stolen guns.
