Not engineered properly or not built properly? In Bangkok you can pay off the inspectors and cut all the corners you want to for saving money.
 
I heard that as long as they post a sign it's ok. Balsa wood construction dontchaknow.

Early 1970 I was in San Fernando valley when it seemed I was actually walking backwards, with much effort to stay up right, during a big quake , many after shocks like having the quivers.

My wife lives in BKK, She said it was a high profile construction project that A chinese Co was behind./. Now everyone is pissed at the Chinese.
