From Hornady Manufacturing I received the notice to protest the above ammo ban. This is an ATF address. The ATF email address is as follows:
[email protected]
Talking points included: 1) ATF seeking public input on the proposed 5.56 M855 ball ammo ban. 2) Law abiding citizens have been using 5.56 ball ammo for sporting purposes for decades. 3) Proposed legislation appears to be a case of government arriving at a solution that does not exist. 4) ATF disproportionately focuses on criminals that might use sporting ammo in a handgun. 5) The legislation classifies criminals as consumer groups. 6) There is a suggestion in the proposed legislation that manufactures purposely sell this ammo to criminal elements. 7) That ATF is urged to permanently drop the proposed ban on 5.56 m855 ball ammo.
Hopefully, the readers will email their opinions against the proposed ban.
Thanks. tkdguy
