Geissle uses an EDM wire cutting machine for the engagement surfaces.
That eliminates the rough craters & ridges on critical surfaces that you get when using an abrasive or toothed saw, eliminating the need for a secondary polishing of the contact areas.

I used to stone my own 1911 sear/triggers so I have' some experience.
"Trigger/sears/other connectors" are very touchy.

I am looking for a single stage small pin drop in. I have no experience with anything other than mil-spec parts.

I am leaning towards the CMC flat 3.5 lb unit that is about $150

What does the more expensive units gain?

I put these on most of my AR builds and everyone who shoots it loves it .Always a big smile and they do the trick. No pulling or pushing excuses with that trigger
