I'm an amateur when it comes to Lugers, but I can tell you that this is a 1918 manufactured Luger that became property of the Weimar Republic as indicated by the 1920 stamp. This pistol was rearsenaled at Erfurt and is stamped as such, thus resulting in mismatched parts. Grips appear to be original though they are not numbered, certainly period correct and not reproduction. Magazine is Code 122/E77 with aluminum bottom indicating production between 1939-1945. Holster is period correct and dated 1937, there is no serial number to tie this to the gun. Finish is original and looks to be pretty good considering it's 100 years old. I have never fired this pistol, though it appears to function as normal and be in good working condition. I know I'll get lots of questions on this one, and I'll try to answer them as best I can. No trades please.
