And not recognizing the 1969 song by Sly and the Family Stone. My fault, the actual quote shoulda been, "Boom, lakalakalaka! Boom, lakalakalaka!"

Sly predates all other uses (thefts) of the lakalaka bit.

This is a much shorter vid than the Woodstock performance. BTW, they also performed this song at the Newport Pop Festival... I was there all three days. Errr, two days? IDK. Good times tho!! (Edit: Aug 3-4, 1968. Hey, my birthday!!!)
