This gun was manufactured at the peak of Detonics’ quality in 1980, and the pistol is in excellent condition. This gun is exceptionally clean amd may be unfired. Compare the fit and finish of this Detonics to others shown online, and you will see that this gun is from the era when fit and finish were paramount. These guns were premium equivalents to a Mercedes automobile, and in 1986 (for instance) this gun ran $635 when a Colt Officers only cost $482.
