Yeah that's not a DPP. Sorry friend hate to be the bearer of bad news.

I'm not 100% sure. I see two kinds of genuine Leupold DPPs, one with the serif "DP-PRO" font utilizing hex screws on the lens shield, and one with block "DP-PRO" text utilizing torx screws on the lens shield. These are both are real:

But what's got me wondering is the texture. I can't seem to find a Leupold DPP that has that rough texture...

But what's really throwing me off is that even the Chinese knockoffs don't have that bumpy texture... Here's a $70 Chinese copy straight off alibaba with smooth texture and a clean QR code:

But at least now we know why the holes were undersized, ouch.
