I will post some pics tonight. I had to drill the optic body it was the preexisting holse just widened them to fit the screws.

Where did you purchase it? Looks nothing like a DPP. The markings, adjustments, and even the red dot look off.

I'm not 100% sure. I see two kinds of genuine Leupold DPPs, one with the serif "DP-PRO" font utilizing hex screws on the lens shield, and one with block "DP-PRO" text utilizing torx screws on the lens shield. These are both are real:



But what's got me wondering is the texture. I can't seem to find a Leupold DPP that has that rough texture...

But what's really throwing me off is that even the Chinese knockoffs don't have that bumpy texture... Here's a $70 Chinese copy straight off alibaba with smooth texture and a clean QR code:


So I dunno.

The simple answer is to call Leupold and have them verify the serial number.

I'm gonna do that tomorrow. What's to stop them from using a real serial number? Would Leupold know if there were 500 units with the same serial number?
