yes sir, im interested in other assault style weapons maybe an ar15 a vepr, cetme, ak47, the likes. my first choice being the ak74. Im just looking for possibles but not ready to buy anything till January. thanks tho

I believe Dave was pointing out that "assault weapons" are class 3/NFA/full auto/etc. You're looking for a semi-auto AK74, plain and simple. You can leave the media buzzwords out of the conversation and get along just fine.
