I thought about that concept a long while ago. Thinking that I could use it with my M261 conversion. So, I even purchased an old worn-out first-generation G.I. 5.56 barrel with the front sight base. I figured that maybe........I could get it relined with a proper twist 22LR liner. But of course......I got plenty of other things going on. Sooooo........

Anyway, YEAH. A dedicated and proper 22LR heavy-weight barrel would probably be superior. But, as with most things that are fun.......

Well, I got a limited budget.
