DD front pivot pin not locking into place?

i have never had this issue before with Daniel Defense but the front pivot pin is not locking into place when pushed in. When I pull the pin to relaese the upper receiver it locks into place just fine. Both lower receiver and LPK are brand new. anyone else ever had this issue or have any quick fixes for me, I have taken the lower completley apart and inpected all hardware so I think the dimple in the actuall pivot pin wasnt drilled correctly. I obviosly thought about drilling it but I dont want it to be sloppy if I drill to much. Thanks in advance for any info.

Just replace the takedown pin. ****, call DD and they'd probably send you a new one. Easy fix...
