Well, it appears that early GWOT aesthetics get to live rent free in my head and I have now succumbed to building retro ARs.
My latest obsession is to attempt to make an M4A1 Block I-IIish build with a front sight post and a quad rail that extends past the FSP. I see that the Daniel Defense (linked below) is an option, but was curious if anyone else knew of a complete upper that didn't cost so many bills. I recognize I could source the parts and build it piece by piece, but I am all ears for an alternative to the Daniel Defense that is already complete if the pricing is more competitive.
