CZ has felt the hit of my slowing purchases of things that go bang and my steady purchase of things to feed them! Who'd have known I'd make such a financial impact?

Everything's gotten way too expensive in general, people are going to cut back here and there. Not a surprise at all.

Absolutely. Couple that with the holidays, and money isn't falling out of people's pockets for things that are not necessities.

The used gun market is soft, very soft. I've got a couple for sale and nobody is coughing up money. Lots of reasonable trade offers, but I want MONEY! :D

I have been buying alot of older guns. They can keep the new stuff.....you are right the prices have been great on used guns

I was going to buy a PCR but by the time I got around to clicking the buy buttion the prices had gone up around $150. They keep raising prices and people are going to think twice.

In my mind, just a symptom of the overall market. Not limited to CZ. Both times Trump has been in office, the market has suffered a Trump Slump. Because new federal legislation seems off the table for the duration of his terms.

Inflation has been working away. But it seems to me that Colt 1911 prices in real terms are lower now in real terms than they were in the past. In 1988, the price of a basic 1911 Government Model was $540. According to the BLS inflation calculator, it would take $1,515 to buy the equivalent product today. The basic Gov't Model in .45 ACP has an MSRP of $1,049 but you can buy them new for under that price. Even in strictly dollar amounts, no accounting for inflation, I seem to remember the price for a new, basic Gov't Model twenty years ago was around $800. So I feel that new 1911 prices have slipped.

I have one Colt that I bought this year, it's a better made gun under CZ.

Well I am racing to buy what I want before March. I have bought 6 guns in the last 6 weeks. I get my CC paid off at the end of next month, then I will buy a couple more.

I also need six more Colt mags for my AR in 30 round and six aluminum or steel 20 round. I have two 5 round steel on the way.

After I get my PPK and a couple of 10/22's ordered, then I will be a mag whore through March 14th.

After the development of the common mag syndrome between the P-07, 09, and 10 series, i see no need to buy another CZ. I have multiples of each and i am set!
