Ty! I tried searching his name before I posted but I couldn't find him.
Hmmm...."Bore has signs of rust and fouling"....."Fair condition, functions as it should. Handling marks from years of use. No cracks in wood. One Chip on bottom of the butt. Needs a good cleaning. Bore has signs of rust and fouling."
LOLz!That was basically the "bat signal".....he will be here in 3....2...1....
This and the fact its a CVA should call it a 'pass'.Needs a good cleaning. Bore has signs of rust and fouling."
Ty!Hmmm...."Bore has signs of rust and fouling".....
That could be an easy fix with some aggressive cleaning....or might be a sign of needing a new barrel....
All depending on how bad it is.
A close up look at the the lock...it appears that the hammer screw is missing.
In that condition....
I wouldn't pay more than $50 - $75 for it , If I could inspect the bore and if I thought that the bore could be saved....
If this is an online only purchase. , and I couldn't inspect it first.....honestly I'd pass on it.

Edit to add....
Bore condition plays a large role here...it is easy to clean and maintain a black powder firearm...
However ...many folks do not for whatever reason.
The missing hammer screw...may be a easy fix...if it is completely missing...
If it is broken off and part left in place..then it may be a PITA to fix.
If the bore was in very good - excellent shape...and no missing parts...it might fetch $200.
Take care of your firearms.
