This one is super cool, and you better believe I'm hanging onto its twin.
I purchased a pair of these lightly used from a gentleman who had custom work done on them. They started life as a full-size 1860, then the rammer was removed, the barrel shortened to snubnose proportions, and a new front sight was installed. These are one of a kind (well, two of a kind, but you can't have the other one, so effectively, one of a kind) custom pieces, and I do not part with this one lightly. If I didn't have its twin, I'd never even consider selling it.
It's a blast to shoot, a bit more finnicky to reload without a rammer but you seem like a capable person, I trust your ability to use a small dowel in its place.
This piece is, as usual, non-FFL. It can be yours today, no wait times. Got to love the antique status of black powder, it makes black powder so much more affordable than modern.
Open to trades but the price is non-negotiable. It's what I paid for it initially, it's what I expect back, in cash or value in a trade. The historical model this one was built after was named the "Avenger". How awesome is that?
