Couple hard to find savage 99s 250-300,243 clip both fired very little i believe the 250-3000 was limited edition whitetail carbine with shnabel forend has leupold also 1250 for 243 ,1600 for 250-3000. transfer fees on buyer

Not my gun of course, but of course the .243 has been shortened for a small stature hunter (kid or woman), and a pad installed.

The .250 is what Savage called a "99A" carbine, 20" barrel, straight grip, and came out late '70's/early 80's, as a commemorative/tribute gun to the early '99's. No better rifle for Whitetail, and I killed the biggest one I will ever kill with a rifle identical to this one.
