Coolness Factor

So, what follows here is entirely NOT scientific.

_________________________________________________________________

I have observed over time, that individuals posting to NWF have a wide dispersion in both the number of posts that they have made, but also in the number of reactions they have gotten from those posts.

Some folks get more responses to their posts. Others less.

So,

I thought it would be interesting to see which individuals have the highest "Response to Post Ratio" among those whom I am familiar with.

I have decided to coin the term "Coolness Factor" to describe the highest ratio's, in the sense that more people have responded to those particular posts out of some interest in them.

I readily admit that this characterization is fraught with difficulties. The least of which would be the time aspect. In other words, the length of time that a post has existed on NWF has allowed it to garner more responses, thus increasing the "apparent" Coolness Factor. I completely acknowledge that issue. I am sure there are other issues with the data as well. The database I used was not exhaustive, and only included a sample of Members with whom I am somewhat familiar with. Please understand these limitations.

However.

In the interest of SCIENCE and, more importantly, The Good of Man-Kind, I have tabulated the following results below.

Stomper was the reason I joined this place years ago. Had found it and was dropping in, his stuff got me both to join and later to start to support it. He is quite the character.
