I have three nice 22 caliber rifles for sale.
Marlin 1897 22lr Take-down $750
Made in 1901. Rifle comes with a tang rear sight. Original rear sight is gone and the dovetail was filled in with metal, perhaps lead.
Barrel Length 24" with an overall length of 40"
Metal finish is what you would expect for a gun of this age. Barrel is pretty good, but has typical loss. Receiver has less original finish.
Wood is as to be expected, except for the damaged butt stock that had a new piece of wood added it. It is secure.
Savage 72 22 short, long and long rifle $350
Made after 1968. This is a single shot rifle with a falling block action.
Barrel Length 22" with overall length of 36.5"
Metal finish is excellent w great color to the receiver.
Wood finish is also excellent with some small scratches. Butt shock has nice figure
Ithaca M49 22 short, long and long rifle $250
While this looks like a typical lever action rifle, it is actually a single shot Martini action. Lowering the lever drops the forward portion of the bolt.
Made in the early 1960's as the gun does not have a serial number. Rifle has a Williams side mounted receiver rear sight. Old rear sight dove tale has been filled in with metal.
Barrel Length 18" with overall length of 34.5
