I wouldn't blink at using these with a CMMG .22LR conversion. It just doesn't get cheaper than $60 for a complete lower.

But I wonder if anyone has any actual experience using polymer lowers for .223/5.56. I read somewhere about them breaking off at the tube. Maybe this one being "GenII" is supposed to give me confidence? I have an Extar (polymer 9mm) and it is wonderful! But .223?
