Colt 6920-How to tell if it has the small pins

just got a Colt 6920...anyone know how to tell if you have one with the small pins so that it is compatible with other uppers? I don't have another upper to put on it to see. Is there a way to check the serial number?

I would use my eyes to check the serial number

I think the pivot pin sizes are large pin (.312) small pin (.250)

Take a 1/4" drill bit and see if it fits. If it does, you've got the small pin.

If it's a large pin, you can get an offset pin that will allow you to use the small pin uppers in a large pin lower.

all 6920s are small take down pins

looks like it is LE056XXX and higher that have the new pins......
