Up for sale is my Colt 1911 MK IV .45 cal 80 series.

This pistol has had about 900 rounds down it, mostly a safe queen. Shoots like a dream.

- It has Bo Mar adjustable sights
-competition trigger
-extended Beavertail blackstrap
-Wilson Combat firing pin
-Wilson Compat flat recoil spring
-Wilson Combat beveled magwell
- Pachmyer grips
- firearm refinished by Ron Mahovsky, in his Metalife finish (otherwise known as SS Chromium M. Metalife looks like stainless steel, but has a hardness of 71 on the Rockwell "C" Scale, which is even harder than stainless steel.)

-includes Black leather holster
-includes one Chip McCormick 8 round stainless Steel magazine with baseplate.

I bought it used, was told it was around 700 at that point but I had no way to verify that, seemed likely right based on lack of wear and tear. I have only put another 200 down it since, it is mostly a safe sitter.

Nice looking pistol. Since it's been refinished by Ron, does that mean it's not stainless steel but rather blued with a silver finish?

Indeed, I wanted a harder finish then stainless but like the look so I went with this Chromium finish . I already have two other pistols and an AR he worked on and love the finish so much that I had him do this one as well.
