I have relatives that think Deliverance is a excellent documentary...

All kidding aside Deliverance is a beautifully filmed * movie about survival and "What if..."
The acting and character development are well done
The novel is well worth a read as well.

It's one of those movies that leave you uncomfortable, for lack of a better term, at the end. I'm getting so I don't care for those kind of movies. I realize that's is the writer doing his job, and can appreciate artistic value. There's just too much "uncomfortable" these days already. for me.
