I used to live in Lake Stevens. Back in 2011 when I was standing on the dock with my boat tied up, I was attacked by 2 cougars. I didn't know what to do, I was caught off guard because they were armed...... With really big calcium cannons...

Bahahahaha!!!!! You had me hook, line and sinker
Best part, my wife walked up on us and even she was impressed by the armaments!

And BTW, I was fishing off the dock to kill time while my wife fetched sandwiches, I was catching sunfish, and those cougars were actually complimenting the sunfish I was catching. Sunfish are only 4-5", never thought cougars would be impressed with 5"

You mean when we continue to destroy/take/build on natural habitat it forces animals into urban areas… looking for food and what not?!?!?!

Who would have thought….
This is what happens when the voters override wildlife biologists. The cougar population was controllable when you could use dogs to hunt. The forkin out of state BS that was blasted all over the TV hit everyone "in the feels"....

Stupid people voting for stupid regulations.

S.S.S.

Now days i dont believe it can ever be corrected to let sport hunters help manage the big cats. Instead we use an abundance of tax payer dollars to try to manage something that could be done by sport hunters. The sport hound hunters are (for the most part) more ethical and would generate dollars for odfw

When I seen the title of this thread people came to mind immediately. I'd rather live with the big cats than around a bunch of people. Cougars are predictable, people not so much.
