Pretty common in western oregon. If the citizens of some of these towns knew how many big cats roamed inside city limits they would freak. Silverton is a good example, I killed 8 cats in 6 months inside of town

We had one roaming around in front of my house in North Springfield. Went in the neighbors back yard just a couple of minutes after the neighbors toddlers exited the back yard and went in the house. Police showed up and killed it.

You mean when we continue to destroy/take/build on natural habitat it forces animals into urban areas… looking for food and what not?!?!?!

Who would have thought….

If we just move the deer crossing sign, less deer will get hit

They are spotted occasionally in Salem. The Minto-Brown area down by the river is where I've mostly seen warning signs posted. Coyotes have been seen walking down my street. I've bumped into some pretty scary raccoons in my back yard at night. Big, nasty things with large, pointy teeth that growl and hiss at you. Neighborhood kitty cats disappear with some regularity.
